We want to have a woodland/nature-themed engagement session in the end of March or April of next year. We love landscape photography (Sarah does some of her own), and are seeking distance shots that incorporate our surroundings, and intimate shots/posed shots. We are still developing our ideas about where to go for the session. For our wedding, we are renting out a group campground with cabins and a lodge at Cuvier River State Park in Troy, MO. Cuvier river is very sentimental to us, as we have camped there every October for the past three years :) We will have it for the whole weekend (2 nights Fri/Sat and departing Sun), with our ceremony & reception to take place Saturday the 27th of October, 2018. We are unfortunately waiting for approval for our venue site until the end of November. We have to wait until we are 11 months prior to the wedding date to actually be approved for the reservation according to park policy (Anticipated date October 27th, 2018, so no approval until November 27th, 2017). October is a incredibly popular month for weddings (the most popular?), and so we understand that something may come up for you on the 27th before we can make our deposit. We understand- just let us know, and perhaps we can catch you still for engagement photos :)
